Channel X Hopscotch is an exciting new collaboration between BAFTA-winning comedy production company Channel X (Detectorists; Home), and Hopscotch Films, looking to highlight and develop refreshing new voices in Scottish Comedy TV. Having been awarded a development fund by Screen Scotland, Channel X Hopscotch was also chosen to be one of Channel 4's Emerging Indies, receiving an additional fund to develop projects with a first-look deal with Channel 4. Channel X Hopscotch received its first commission in 2022 to produce a short series for BBC Scotland Dog Days by James Price.
