Bill Douglas: My Best Friend is Jack Archer's inspirational film about the iconic Scottish director, told through his lifelong best friend and collaborator, Peter Jewell. The film features Douglas and Jewell’s wonderful 8mm home-movies, Douglas’ previously unseen short films and testimonies by the filmmakers Lynne Ramsay and Lenny Abrahamson.
